About Us
For conservatives, by conservatives— Protecting Canada's land, water, and prosperity is a conservative cause.
The Canadian Conservative Environment Network (CCEN) is a national non-profit organization committed to advancing environmental leadership that reflects conservative principles. Founded to fill a growing gap in Canada's political landscape, CCEN is the country’s only environmental network built by and for conservatives.

We believe that conservation and conservatism are not only compatible—they're inseparable. Our work supports elected officials, staffers, candidates, media influencers, and grassroots leaders across Canada's conservative movements who are ready to lead on climate, conservation, and clean energy without compromising their values.

CCEN is Canada’s only national environmental network built by and for conservatives—championing climate and conservation leadership rooted in stewardship, innovation, and economic freedom.
We exist to support and promote:

-
Environmental stewardship as a tradition, not a trend
-
Market-based solutions that reward innovation and efficiency
-
Economic freedom as a catalyst for clean growth
-
Rural and resource-based communities as co-creators of environmental policy

Our role is to equip conservative leaders with the tools, ideas, and networks they need to lead from within—on their terms, in their voices, and for the benefit of future generations.
WHY CONSERVATIVES MUST LEAD
In Canada, environmental policy has often been shaped by progressive voices. That has created the impression that caring about climate, conservation, and clean energy is a progressive priority alone. But many conservatives across this country care deeply about the land, water, and communities that define us. They just haven’t always had a credible place to lead from their own values.

CCEN exists to fill that gap.

There is a long tradition of conservative leadership on the environment in Canada. From establishing national parks to advancing natural resource stewardship, conservatives have always understood the importance of protecting what we inherit. Principles like personal responsibility, intergenerational duty, and careful, efficient governance are not only relevant to environmental issues — they are essential to solving them.

When conservatives are absent from the conversation, others take the lead. That can mean policies that overlook the realities of rural communities, working families, or energy producers. It can also reinforce the idea that economic growth and environmental responsibility are somehow at odds. We believe the opposite is true.
Conservatives have an opportunity — and a responsibility — to lead.

At CCEN, we work to support leaders across the conservative movement who are ready to bring serious, values-driven solutions to the table. We help equip elected officials, candidates, and influencers with the ideas, tools, and networks they need to lead on environmental issues with confidence and credibility.

We also know timing matters. As this new Parliament gets to work, there is a window right now to help shape future policy — one that reflects both our environmental obligations and our economic strengths.
Canada needs a voice that brings tradition, innovation, and environmental leadership together. That voice must include conservatives.
At CCEN, we are proud to help make that possible.
